2010 RPM Car Show

August 7th - Irvine, CA

RPM brought their new vision of what a modern day car show should be like to Irvine, California this past weekend. From a kitted out Boxter, to a Roush Mustang there were specimenes from all breeds posted out on the show floor.

While the show offered plenty of entertainment including a DJ, stunt bikes, and even a few amusement rides provided by Wild Rivers, the turnout was less than spectacular. On the brighter side of things, this made it much easier for those who attended to enjoy the wide variety of cars on display and girls modeling for them.

Building a new brand image and creating a place where enthusiasts can gather and share their passion with one another isn't an easy task but RPM somehow managed to pull it off, even with strong competition from the event hosters of Remix and Hot Import Nights to compete with.

In the end, the show was a huge success. Many of the entrants were rewarded with yet another trophy to fill up their walls and all of the attendees were able to enjoy a Saturday afternoon with the people and culture they've grown to love.

A unique display can never hurt your chances with the car show judges, especially if they're fans of Farmville. Like.

Nothing's as JDM as painting a rising sun on the underside of your hood.

Except maybe a Type-R baby seat.

Team Gouki dominates the show with row upon row of members rides, many of which were either rare or heavily modified. This Evo is a great example with carefully selected mods, tasteful exterior modifications and gorgeous wheels. Carbon fiber accents pull the whole look together.

[The new meets the old.]

Dedicated snarling track beast. Even the glossiest candy paint wouldn't cover up the battle scars that scour the surface of this machine.
