Once a proud show vehicle capable of turning heads at nearly every venue it visited, this near-stock Civic is now a modest daily driver with a little extra taste.
Accenting the engine bay is a Spoon yellow valve cover along with a Spoon radiator cap. Hidden beyond the engine dress-up is a Greddy Turbocharger kit designed specifically for the K20 engine which is tucked into the tiny engine bay of this Honda. Air gets sucked in through the massive Airinx air filter, gets forced through the incredibly fast spooling Greddy turbo, and is air cooled via the large intercooler placed just behind the menacing Tourenn front fascia. As the air gusts past the throttle body and into the engine, the spent exhaust gases exit via a larger bore 5Zigen A-Spec exhaust system which also provides a little JDM bling with its burnt titnaium tip. In order to ensure that the body hugs the ground as much as possible at track speeds, the suspension is lowered on Tein S-tech springs.
Bride Zeta III seats were chosen to keep the driver comfortably and safely restrained at all times so that they can focus on the road. Complimenting the Zeta III's are Takata racing harnesses and a full bride interior, including a rear seat wrap custom made for this show winner. Lastly, but certainly worth an honorable mention, are the lamborghini style vertical door hinges that were added for that extra show effect.
